Seetalplatz Lucerne - new traffic routes

The area north of the city Lucerne has developed rapidly and substantially in the last decade. For more efficient traffic management and better landscaping the roads in the Emmenbrücke railway station - Seetalplatz - Reussbühl area were rerouted and rebuilt. The Seetalplatz as one of the most complex intersections of local, regional and interregional traffic routes in the canton of Lucerne required precise planning and constant monitoring of the construction activities as well as constant coordination with the neighboring projects Flood Protection and Master Plan Lucerne North.
