Start of construction at the station in Liestal

Construction work has started on the new station building ant the residential and commercial building on the station site in Liestal. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2024. New residential and commercial spaces will be built in central location, along with a range of stores and services to meet the needs of travelers and pedestrians. For travelers, access to the railroad will be improved by connecting bicycles, buses and individual transpofrt more directly to the station. The winning project of an architectural competition will be realized by Burkhard Meyer Architekten from Baden.
